JavaScript and the HTML DOM

A JavaScript can also be used to change the content or attributes of HTML elements.

To change the content of an HTML element:

document.getElementById(id).innerHTML=new HTML

To change the attribute of an HTML element:

document.getElementById(id).attribute=new value
