Definition and Usage

The onclick event occurs when the user clicks on an element.

Syntax

In HTML:

<element onclick="SomeJavaScriptCode">

In JavaScript:

object.onclick="SomeJavaScriptCode"

Parameter Description
SomeJavaScriptCode Required. Specifies a JavaScript to be executed when the event occurs
