JavaScript getMilliseconds() Method
JavaScript Date Object
Definition and Usage
The getMilliseconds() method returns the milliseconds (from 0 to 999) of the specified date and time, according to local time.
Note: This method is always used in conjunction with a Date object.
Syntax
Date.getMilliseconds()
Browser Support
The getMilliseconds() method is supported in all major browsers.
Examples
Example 1
Return the milliseconds, according to local time:

var d = new Date();
document.write(d.getMilliseconds());
</script>
var d = new Date();
document.write(d.getMilliseconds());
</script>
The output of the code above will be:

Return the milliseconds from a specific date and time:

var d = new Date("July 21, 1983 01:15:00");
document.write(d.getMilliseconds());
</script>

The output of the code above will be:
0

Note: Example 2 will set milliseconds to 0, since no milliseconds was defined in the date.
