Definition and Usage

The frameBorder property sets or returns the value of the frameborder attribute in a frame/iframe element.

The frameborder attribute specifies whether or not to display a border around a frame.

Syntax

frameObject.frameBorder=value

or

iframeObject.frameBorder=value

The frameBorder property can have one of the following values:

Value Description
1 Border on (this is default)
0 Border off

The frameBorder property is supported in all major browsers.

Return the value of the frameborder attribute:
