Definition and Usage

The UnixToJD() function returns the Julian day count for a Unix timestamp (Gregorian seconds since midnight of January 1, 1970), or for the current day if no timestamp is given.

Syntax

unixtojd(timestamp)

Parameter Description
timestamp Optional.


Tips and Notes

Note: Unix timestamps indicate the number of seconds from midnight of January 1, 1970 on the Gregorian calendar, not the Julian Calendar.
