Definition and Usage
The border-spacing property sets the distance between the borders of adjacent cells (only for the "separated borders" model).

The border-spacing property is supported in all major browsers.
Note: Internet Explorer 8 (and higher) supports the border-spacing property if a !DOCTYPE

not allowed

value is specified, it specifies both the horizontal and vertical spacing
