Definition and Usage
The deleteData() method deletes data from a CDATA node.
Syntax

CDATANode.deleteData(start,length)

Description |
| start |
Required. Specifies where to begin removing characters. Start value starts at zero |
| length |
Required. Specifies how many characters to delete |
Example
The following code fragment loads "books_cdata.xml"
into xmlDoc using
loadXMLDoc() and deletes some characters (the "<b>" tag) from the text node of the
first <html> element:
