The bgcolor attribute is supported in all major browsers.
Definition and Usage
The <table> bgcolor attribute is not supported in HTML5. Use CSS instead.
The bgcolor attribute of <table> is deprecated in HTML 4.01.
The bgcolor attribute specifies a background color of a table.
