The getAttributeNS() method gets an attribute node by namespace URI and name.
Syntax
elementNode.getAttributeNodeNS(ns,name)

Example
The following code fragment loads "books_ns.xml"
into xmlDoc using
loadXMLDoc() and gets the "lang" attribute node from
the first <title>
element:
xmlDoc=loadXMLDoc("books_ns.xml");
x=xmlDoc.getElementsByTagName("title")[0];
ns="http://www.w3schools.com/children/";
y=x.getAttributeNodeNS(ns,"lang");
document.write(y.nodeName);
