Browser Support
The formnovalidate attribute works in all major browsers, except Internet Explorer and Safari.
Definition and Usage
The novalidate attribute is a boolean attribute.
When present, it specifies that the <input> element should not be validated when submitted.
The formnovalidate attribute overrides the novalidate attribute of the <form> element.
Note: The formnovalidate attribute can be used with type="submit".
Differences Between HTML 4.01 and HTML5
The formnovalidate attribute is new in HTML5.
