The <header> tag is supported in all major browsers.
The <header> tag specifies an introduction, or a group of navigation elements for a document.
The <headers> element can contain headings, subheadings, version information, navigational controls, etc.
Note: A <header> tag cannot be placed within a <footer>, <address> or another <header> element.
The <header> tag is new in HTML5.
The <header> tag also supports the Global Attributes in HTML5.
The <header> tag also supports the Event Attributes in HTML5.
