Definition and Usage

The setSeconds() method is used to set the seconds of a specified time.

Syntax

dateObject.setSeconds(sec,millisec)

Parameter Description
sec Required. A numeric value between 0 and 59 representing the seconds
millisec Optional. A numeric value between 0 and 999 representing the milliseconds

Tips and Notes

Note: If one of the parameters above is specified with a one-digit number, JavaScript adds one or two leading zeros in the result.

Note: This method is always used in conjunction with a Date object.

Set the seconds of the current time to 01:
