Definition and Usage

The longDesc property sets or returns the value of the longdesc attribute of an image.

The longdesc attribute specifies an URL to a page that contains a long description of an image.

Syntax

imageObject.longDesc=URL

Browser Support

The longDesc property is supported in all major browsers.

Return the value of the longdesc attribute of an image:
