The Sqr function returns the square root of a number.

Note: The number parameter cannot be a negative value.

Syntax

Sqr(number)

Parameter Description
number Required. A valid numeric expression >= 0

Example 1

document.write(Sqr(9))

Output:

3

Example 2

document.write(Sqr(0))

Output:

0

Example 3

document.write(Sqr(47))

Output:

6.85565460040104
