The type attribute is supported in all major browsers.
The type attribute of <ul> is deprecated in HTML 4.01.
The type attribute specifies the kind of marker to use in the unordered list.
The type attribute of <ul> is not supported in HTML 4.01 Strict / XHTML 1.0 Strict DTD.
Use CSS instead.
