Browser Support

The link attribute is supported in all major browsers.

Definition and Usage

The <body> link attribute is not supported in HTML5. Use CSS instead.

The link attribute of <body> is deprecated in HTML 4.01.

The link attribute specifies the default color of unvisited links in a document.

Compatibility Notes

hex_number	Specifies the link color with a hex code (like "#ff0000")
rgb_number	Specifies the link color with an rgb code (like "rgb(255,0,0)")
