Example
Use a <figure> element to mark up a photo in a document, and a <figcaption> element to define a caption for the photo:

Definition and Usage
The <figcaption>
tag defines a caption for a <figure> element.
The <figcaption>
element can be placed as the first or last child of the <figure> element.
Browser Support
The numbers in the table specify the first browser version that fully supports the element.
