Definition and Usage

The name attribute specifies the name of an <iframe>.

The name attribute can be used to reference the element in a JavaScript, or as the value of the target attribute of an <a> or <form> element.

Tip: In XHTML, the name attribute of the <iframe> tag is deprecated, and will be removed. Use the id attribute instead.
