Definition and Usage

The squeeze() method converts a single column DataFrame into a Series.


Syntax

dataframe.squeeze(axis)

Parameters

The parameters are keyword arguments.

Parameter Value Description
axis None

'index'
'columns'
Optional. Default None. Specifies the axis to squeeze

Return Value

A Series, or a DataFrame if it is not a single column DataFrame.
