I lost my streak. Can I get it back?

If you completed a lesson but the streak did not register, contact support with the date and we will look into it.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, not by W3Schools. Cancel in your store account settings at least 24 hours before the period ends. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

How to get help

Do you have a question or a problem with the W3Schools Adventure app?

To help us solve your problem faster, please tell us:

What device you use (for example: iPhone 15, Samsung Galaxy S24)
What version of the app you use (find it in the app under Profile)
What happened, and what you expected to happen
A screenshot or screen recording, if you can

Troubleshooting

The app crashes or will not load:

Update to the latest version in the App Store or Google Play
Close the app fully and open it again
Restart your phone
If nothing helps, reinstall the app. Your progress is saved to your account, so you will not lose it

I completed a lesson but my streak did not count:

You need to open the app and complete the lesson. The app will automatically update your streak.

Subscriptions and payments

All payments in the app are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play, not by W3Schools.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.

How to cancel your subscription:

iPhone: Open Settings > tap your name > Subscriptions
Android: Open Google Play > tap your profile > Payments and subscriptions > Subscriptions

Note: Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.

Refunds:

Because the stores process all payments, refund requests go through them: request a refund from Apple or request a refund from Google Play. If you get stuck, email us and we will point you the right way.

Restore purchases:

Did you buy a subscription, but the app does not show it? Use the "Restore Purchases" option in the app settings, and make sure you are signed in with the same store account you used when you paid.

If you want to delete your account and personal data, go to your account settings and click "Delete Account" at the bottom of the page. Deletion is permanent and removes your progress, streaks and XP.

Is the app free?

Yes. Downloading the app and learning core lessons is free on both iOS and Android. Some extra content is offered as an optional subscription.

Which languages can I learn?

At launch: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, and Java, with many more on the way.

Do I need coding experience?

None. The app is built for absolute beginners; lesson one assumes nothing.
