Screen Recorder
Record your screen, a window, or a browser tab - optionally with microphone narration - and download the video.
Runs entirely in your browser.
Record Your Screen Online
Your browser will ask what to share (entire screen, a window, or a tab). Tab/system audio capture is only offered by some browsers, typically when sharing a tab. Stopping the share from the browser's own bar also ends the recording.
About Screen Recording in the Browser
Browsers can capture the screen without any extension or app, using the Screen Capture API (getDisplayMedia) together with MediaRecorder. You choose exactly what to share - the entire screen, a single window, or one browser tab - and the browser shows an indicator while capture is active. When you also enable the microphone, this tool mixes the captured audio and your narration into a single soundtrack using the Web Audio API.
Browser support: screen recording works in desktop Chrome, Edge, and Firefox. Safari's support is limited, and mobile browsers generally do not allow screen capture from a web page. The resulting file is typically WebM (VP8/VP9); this tool picks the best format your browser supports.
Everything is processed locally on your device. The video is held in memory and never uploaded - download it before closing the page, because reloading discards it.
