JavaScript getFullYear() Method
JavaScript Date Object
Definition and Usage
The getFullYear() method returns the year (four digits) of the specified date, according to local time.
Note: This method is always used in conjunction with a Date object.
Syntax
Date.getFullYear()

The getFullYear() method is supported in all major browsers.

Example 1
Return the four-digit year:
