Style Object
Definition and Usage
The clip property sets or returns which part of a positioned element is visible.
Syntax
Set the clip property:
Return the clip property:
| Value | Description |
|---|---|
| auto | The element does not clip. This is default |
| rect(top right bottom left) | Clips the shape defined by the four coordinates |
| inherit | The value of the clip property is inherited from the parent element |

The clip property is supported in all major browsers.
