JavaScript String Object
The substring() method extracts the characters in a string between two specified indices, and returns a new string.

| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
| indexA | Required. Where to start the extraction. Must be a numeric value. Starts at 0 |
| indexB | Optional. Where to stop the extraction. Must be a numeric value. If omitted, substring() extracts to the end of the string |
