Definition and Usage
The host property sets or returns the hostname:port part of the href attribute value.
Syntax
areaObject.host=hostname:port
Browser Support

The host property is supported in all major browsers.
Tips and Notes
Note: If the port part is not specified in the URL, or is 80 (which is
default), some browsers will not display the port part.
